Healthy Relationships Walk and Talk - Narika

Hey high schoolers and families! For this month's hike, Active Circle is going to be partnering with Narika, in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Narika addresses the unmet needs of survivors of abuse by providing advocacy, support, information, and referrals within a culturally sensitive and linguistically diverse model. Narika has helped thousands of individuals put abuse and violence behind them and build new lives for themselves. 

Narika's mission of changing the way we live, violence-free, aligns with Active Circle's mission of creating active connected communities. The first step to creating an active connected community is ensuring physical and mental well being of the people in our communities. 

This event will be a walk and talk, with speaker Mullai Sampath, the Prevention & Community Education Specialist at Narika. We will begin with a walk, and after, Mullai will facilitate a discussion on healthy relationships and the significance of DVAM. 

We invite you to come walk with us on October 22 in Mountain View. We plan to meet from 9AM-11AM.
